We are a collective of innovators, healers, and advocates redefining what grassroots transformation looks like in Kwale County.

For decades, interventions in Kwale have often been top-down and short-term. This has created a “Sustainability Gap” where projects vanish once funding ends, leaving communities without lasting infrastructure or support systems. ShiftUp was born out of a need to address systemic barriers that prevent grassroots transformation from taking root and flourishing over generations.
